THE BIBLE We believe that the Bible is the written word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, and truthful in all it affirms.  The scriptures are our infallible guide and rule of faith and practice, and serve as models of conduct and doctrine. (2 Timothy 1:23-25; Hebrews 4:12)

GOD:  We believe in one God, creator of all things, who has revealed himself as three in one, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He is eternal, almighty, everlasting, ever present, all powerful, gracious, and good. (Gensis 12:33; Deuteronomy 33:27; Psalms 102:27; 1Timothy 1:17; Matthew 28:19,20; 2 Corinthians 13:14; John 1:1,14,18; 14:16-18; 16:28)

JESUS CHRIST: We believe that Jesus is the eternal Son of God who became flesh to reveal God to humanity and to become the Savior of the people of the world. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, worked miracles, and gave us an example to follow. We believe Christ was fully God and fully man, and is our savior. Jesus Christ is the only mediator between humanity and God and is Lord over all things in heaven and in earth, and under earth. (John 1:1-2,14; 1 John 4:9, John 3:16, 1 Timothy 3:16; Acts 7:37-38;2 peter 3:18; Hebrews 1:1-5; Phillipians 2:9-10)

THE HOLY SPIRIT: We believe in the Holy Spirit, who is a personal and active part of the Godhead and dwells in every christian. The Holy Spirit continually calls a believer to live like Christ lived . The evidence of the Holy Spirit is a person's obedient response to the Word of God, and showing the fruit and gifts of the Holy Spirit. (John 16:5-15; Acts 1:7-8; Romans 8:26-27; 1 Corinthians 3:16; 6:19; 2 Timothy 1:14; John 16:13; Acts 2:4))

CHRIST'S RESURRECTION AND RETURN: We believe Jesus Christ died on a cross to pay the penalty for sin that separated us from God, and then rose from the dead to reconcile us to our Creator and to free us to have a new life in Him. Now, He sits at the right hand of the Father to intercede for us. We believe He will return again in glory and power to judge the living and the dead. His imminent return will bring a new heaven and a new earth, and “…the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.” (Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:4-6; Revelation 14:6,21:3-8)

SANCTIFICATION: We were created in the image of God to have community with Him and represent Him on earth. However, through a willful act of disobedience, the fall of man from Genesis, all have been separated from Him, suffered these consequences, and are in need of God's saving grace. We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin and gives us the opportunity to trade our sin for His righteousness through faith. Each person can receive salvation by repentance, and by their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin. (Matthew 26:28; Romans 5:1-11, 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-10; Hebrews 10:19-22; 1 Peter 1:18, 19; 1 John 1:7 Matthew 10:32; Romans 10:9, 10)

BAPTISM: We believe in water baptism, in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as distinct from the New Birth, in speaking with tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4), in the gifts of the Spirit, and in the evidence of the fruit of the Spirit. We believe that all of these are available to believers.

We believe in the Christian’s hope: the soon-coming, personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
